Its perectly normal, I remember developing crushes for other girls when I was very young. Its nothing to worry about, its normal and cute. It not the same as an adult having a crush on someone.
I don’t think watching movies will necessarily cause them. However, some little girls in my son’s nursery class have crushes on him. He also says that a little girl in his class is “so, so pretty.” I thought we’d have at least another 10 years before girls entered the scene! I don’t encourage it, but I also don’t discourage it. At their age, it’s completely innocent. I only hope that 10 years from now, he’s
still showing a girl that he likes her by playing with blocks with her. Ah, one can dream, I suppose. And if all else fails, there’s always military school. =)
I did too when I was little, but I don’t remember it that perfectly. But I didn’t make it a big deal, I just had a crush on him and thats it. The next year, it would be a different one.
I remember my mother telling me that I had a crush on a boy in nursery school… I personally don’t remember that.
Some kids have a crush on the parent of the opposite sex and want to marry him/her.
Then comes the phase when the opposite sex has the “cooties” and it’s not acceptable to mingle with them.
After 5th grade is when the cooties disappear and real interest in the opposite sex starts, first covertly, then overtly.
Those “crushes” change from day to day. I had them, and I’m sure everyone else has had them as well at that age.

Not all kids do at 5 or 6. When kids are 8- 10 they know they can’t date someone so they just htink about them.
for a little child that is normal and they really don’t knw what a crush is not at that age i think you just let it go they are baby yet at heart
